Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, September 2. President Xi Jinping delivered a video speech at the 2021 China International Trade in Services Global Service Trade Summit on the evening of the 2nd.

Xi Jinping pointed out that service trade is an important part of international trade and an important field of international economic and trade cooperation, and plays an important role in building a new development pattern. China is willing to work with all parties to adhere to open cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results, and share development opportunities for trade in services, so as to promote the recovery and growth of the world economy.

Xi Jinping emphasized that China will increase the level of openness, promote the implementation of the cross-border service trade negative list nationwide, explore the construction of a national service trade innovation development demonstration zone; expand cooperation space, and increase support for the development of the “Belt and Road” national service industry. Share the achievements of China’s technological development with the world; strengthen the construction of rules in the service sector, support Beijing and other places in the implementation of international high-level free trade agreement rules, and build a digital trade demonstration zone; continue to support the innovation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises, deepen the reform of the new third board, and establish The Beijing Stock Exchange will create a main position for service-innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.
